OTHER INFO:
Our summer youth schedule is taking shape.  Mark your calendars for the "First Sunday" events
following worship:
*July 1: A trip to the "Escape Room" (Families invited):
Sunday, July 1—Afternoon at the Escape Room.  We’ll leave at Noon, have lunch at Pizza Ranch,
and then go to the Escape Room.  Cost is $20 per person, plus lunch.  Participants must be ten or
older.  We are limited to 30 people, and will assign spaces on a first come/first serve basis, with
priority to youth, their guests, and their families. Sign up on the youth bulletin board in the
classroom hallway, or contact Eric Peterson (ericjulian@msn.com) or 320-212-5927).
*August 5: Bating and other fun at Sibley State Park
More plans are in the works and should be available soon!

Looking for something to do during the Sunday School time?  Come to fellowship hall for a look
at leadership and governance issues.  We’ll talk about the role of boards and leaders, the
importance of good bylaws, and finding a structure that works for us.  We will meet on June 10,
June 17, June 24, and July 8.

Children who are transitioning out of the nursery through kindergarten age are welcome (but not
obligated) to attend children’s church during the sermon. Parents/guardians are taking turns but
we would LOVE to have a few more people willing to rotate with us, as part of the benefit is to give
these parents an opportunity to really focus on the sermon. If you're interested in serving in this
way, please contact Taya at 320-368-0801 or brobergt@outlook.com.

If you did not sign up to help with the Hospitality ministry at Salem and would like to be involved,
contact Julie Beckman at 264-1150.

"Freezer Refill Needed!" More hot dishes are needed that the hospitality group uses. If you are
able to make one, please put your hot dish in the gym kitchenette chest freezer.

Old shoes, sandals, boots lying around?
The Raymond Lions are collecting them for Soles4Souls again! A collection basket is located in the
narthex coat rack area.  Thank you! Any questions, please contact Dean & Barb Gunderson.
